Encouraging One Another Daily — Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
Your Word calls us to consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Today we bring our marriage before You with that in mind—not only how we are loved, but how we are loving.
Teach us to be intentional.
Help us notice when encouragement is needed.
Help us speak when silence would miss the moment.
Help us build each other up in ways that are thoughtful and sincere.
Lord, keep us from becoming passive in our love. It is easy to assume the other person knows we care, but You call us to something active—something that strengthens and supports.
Give us words that lift, not weigh down.
Give us actions that reflect care, not neglect.
Give us awareness of the small ways we can make a difference in each other’s day.
Father, shape our marriage into a place where encouragement is natural—where we remind each other of what is good, what is growing, and what You are doing in our lives.
Help us not to grow quiet in our support of one another. Instead, make us steady in speaking life, showing kindness, and pointing each other back to You.
May our marriage be marked by a quiet strengthening—day by day, word by word.
