Resting Together in Your Presence — Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
Thank You for the quiet moments You give us—the ones where we can slow down and simply be still before You. In the middle of responsibilities and conversations, remind us that our marriage is safest when it rests in Your presence.
Lord, teach us to turn to You first. In the small tensions, in the unspoken thoughts, and in the ordinary parts of our day, help us to bring everything before You. Let our home be a place where Your peace is welcomed and where Your presence is known.
Help us to be gentle with one another. Give us patience in the little things and grace in the moments that test us. When life feels heavy, remind us that we don’t have to carry it alone—we can come to You together.
Draw our hearts closer, not just to each other, but to You. And as we walk with You, let that closeness quietly strengthen our marriage in ways we may not even see right away.
