A Marriage That Turns Quickly — Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
We come before You today, asking for humble hearts.
So often we hold tightly to our own way—quick to speak, slow to yield, and reluctant to see where we are wrong.
Lord, teach us to recognize Your voice when You correct us.
When conviction comes, help us not to resist it, but to receive it with a willing heart.
Give us the grace to turn quickly—to lay down our pride and choose what is right.
Draw us closer to Christ.
Let His humility shape the way we respond, the way we speak, and the way we love.
Form in us a readiness to change, and a desire to reflect His character more and more.
When tension rises, remind us to pause.
Help us to listen well, to answer gently, and to choose humility over being right.
May our marriage be marked by soft hearts and steady growth—
two lives being shaped by Your hand, day by day.
