A Marriage That Trusts God in Uncertainty — Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
We come before You today, aware that not every season feels clear. There are moments when the future seems uncertain, when questions linger, and when we’re not sure which direction to take.
Teach us to trust You.
Not only when the path is obvious, but when it isn’t. Help us to rest in the truth that You see what we cannot see, and that You are faithfully leading us even when we don’t understand the way forward.
Lord, we ask that You would steady our hearts.
When fear begins to rise, remind us that You are in control.
When doubt creeps in, anchor us in Your promises.
When we feel unsure, help us to move forward in faith.
Keep us united in trust.
Let us not pull in different directions, but stand together, looking to You for guidance. Give us patience as we wait, and wisdom as we take each step.
Shape our marriage through this season.
Let uncertainty draw us closer to You, not farther away. Let it deepen our dependence, strengthen our faith, and remind us that our security is found in You alone.
Draw us closer to Christ, who leads us with perfect wisdom and care. As we follow Him, give us peace that holds steady, even when life feels unsettled.
We place our trust in You.
