Dear heavenly Father,

We come before You today, aware of how deeply we need Your grace. Not just for ourselves, but for the way we live with one another. There are moments when we fall short, when we misunderstand, and when we fail to love as we should.

Teach us to walk in grace.

Help us to extend to one another what You have so freely given to us. When mistakes are made, give us patience. When words fall short, give us understanding. When we are hurt, lead us to respond with mercy instead of holding on to offense.

Lord, we ask that You would shape our hearts.

When we’re quick to judge, slow us down.
When we feel wronged, remind us of the grace we’ve received.
When we struggle to forgive, help us to remember the cross.

Give us a spirit that reflects Your kindness.

To overlook what does not need to be held onto.
To speak with compassion.
To choose love, even when it feels undeserved.

Shape our marriage through grace.

Let it soften what would otherwise become hardened. Let it restore what feels strained. Let it become a steady presence in our relationship, guiding the way we think, speak, and respond.

Draw us closer to Christ, who is full of grace and truth. As we walk with Him, teach us to live in that same grace with one another each day.
