In My Father's House
I’m so excited to share my newest Bible study, In My Father’s House.
This 10-chapter study begins July 14th, and invites women to see the beautiful work God is doing in His people as He gathers, shapes, strengthens, and prepares us for the eternal home He has promised. Through Scripture, we’ll look at Christ as the Cornerstone, believers as living stones, and the Holy Spirit as the One patiently forming our hearts according to the Father’s faithful plan.

Help Us Choose Kind Words — Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
We thank You for Your Word that bring truth, comfort, and direction when we need it most. And we ask that You help us speak to one another in that same way.
It’s so easy, sometimes, to speak without thinking. To let frustration slip into our tone. To say something in the moment that we wish we could take back. And in those moments, Lord, we need Your help.
Slow us down before we speak.
Soften our tone when we feel tense.
Remind us that our words carry weight.
Help us choose words that build up instead of tear down. Words that encourage, that bring peace, and that reflect the love You’ve shown us. Teach us to think before we speak, and to consider how our words will land on the heart of the one we love.
Lord, shape our conversations so they bring us closer, not farther apart. Let our home be a place where words are spoken with care, where grace is heard in our tone, and where love is made known in the way we speak to each other every day.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
