In My Father's House

I’m so excited to share my newest Bible study, In My Father’s House.

This 10-chapter study begins July 14th, and invites women to see the beautiful work God is doing in His people as He gathers, shapes, strengthens, and prepares us for the eternal home He has promised. Through Scripture, we’ll look at Christ as the Cornerstone, believers as living stones, and the Holy Spirit as the One patiently forming our hearts according to the Father’s faithful plan.

If you’ve ever felt unfinished, overlooked, weary, or unsure of what God is doing in this season of your life, my prayer is that this study will gently remind you of this truth:

You are not forgotten.

In My Father’s House is a study about belonging, surrender, refinement, hope, and the promise that one day, every child of God will finally be home.

Teach Us to Be Content With What You Have Given

Teach Us to Be Content With What You Have Given — Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear heavenly Father,

There are times when it’s easier to notice what we don’t have than to appreciate what You’ve already placed in our hands. We can become so focused on what we’d like to change that we forget to thank You for the blessings we’ve been living with all along. Today, we ask that You open our eyes again.

Help us to see our marriage as a gift. Remind us of the little things we’ve stopped noticing—the familiar smile across the room, the conversations at the end of a long day, the comfort of sharing life with someone who has walked beside us through both joy and sorrow. Keep us from comparing our lives to anyone else’s, because You have written a different story for each of us.

When discontentment quietly finds its way into our hearts, help us recognize it before it grows. Turn our thoughts toward gratitude instead. Teach us to celebrate the good You’re doing, even when Your work seems slow. Remind us that a strong marriage isn’t built by wishing for a different one, but by faithfully caring for the one You’ve entrusted to us.

Father, we don’t want to miss today’s blessings while waiting for tomorrow’s. Give us thankful hearts that find joy in ordinary moments, contentment that rests in Your goodness, and love that continues to grow because it’s rooted in You.

In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
