A Consistent Source of Encouragement –
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

Ecclesiastes 5:12 says, “Sweet is the sleep of a laborer.” We recognize the importance of rest, and we are grateful for the times when we can take a moment to relax and recharge. But, we also know that there are moments when we must press on and fulfill our responsibilities. In these times, may we be attentive to one another, offering support and encouragement when we might be tempted to withdraw.

Turning on the TV may be an easy way to unwind, but it’s also an easy way to lose track of time and track of each other. We must remember that our time is precious, and we must use it wisely. Help us to find ways to build up one another. Help us to grow in wisdom and love, and to glorify You in all that we do.

In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
