Join Our Upcoming Bible Study
Get ready to join us for our next Bible study:
Jonah: The Inescapable Love of God.
This new study will kick off on October 9th and will continue for five weeks. To prepare your hearts, I encourage you to pick up a copy of the journal on Amazon. It’s a story that will challenge us to face our own reluctance and embrace the overwhelming, relentless love God has for each and every one of us.
Karissa will be back to bless us with her insightful videos. Together, we look forward to a deep dive into God’s Word and fostering an even closer fellowship among us all. Your participation has been the heartbeat of this group, and I can’t wait to see how God uses our collective thirst for wisdom to draw us nearer to Him and to one another.

A Gift So Freely Given –
Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
Your Word tells us in Ephesians 4:32, “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” We recognize, Lord, the magnitude of your forgiveness, a gift so freely given to us. Teach us to forgive as you have forgiven us—fully, graciously, and without condition or hesitation.
May our heart’s desire be to reflect the love you have shown us, to extend grace even when it feels undeserved. We acknowledge that resentment can build walls in our relationship, walls that only your love can overcome. Help us to let go of pride, to put aside ego, and to speak the language of reconciliation.
We pray that each day is a new page in our marriage, where the mistakes of yesterday are lessons learned for tomorrow. Equip us, Father, with empathy to understand each other’s struggles, with patience to listen, and with a love that covers a multitude of sins.
In moments of anger or hurt, remind us of your eternal perspective. Fill our hearts with a love that bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. For we know that love never fails.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Today’s Bible Verse
Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s. To morrow go ye down against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find them at the end of the brook, before the wilderness of Jeruel. Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you. – 2 Chronicles 20:15–17, KJV

He said: “Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the Lord says to you: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s. Tomorrow march down against them. They will be climbing up by the Pass of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the gorge in the Desert of Jeruel. 17 You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you.’” – 2 Chronicles 20:15–17, NIV
