A Good Friend – Today’s Marriage Prayer

Join Our Current Bible Study

Ruth: Echoes of Christ, Our Kinsman Redeemer

Over the course of four weeks beginning Tuesday, February 20th, join me as we explore the profound significance of the unknown kinsman, uncover the rich symbolism of his shoe, and connect the dots to the Ten Commandments.

We’ll look back at the lives of Biblical characters like Lot, Perez, Judah, and Tamar, seeking to understand their roles in God’s story. Questions like ‘Where does Naomi fit into all this?’ and ‘Why is the timing of these events so crucial?’ will guide our exploration, as we uncover the beauty and depth of these Biblical narratives.

Karissa is also back to bless us each week with her insightful videos. If you would like more information on our study, visit our website.

A Good Friend

A Good Friend –
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

A good friend is someone you can run to in times of trouble.

A good friend is someone you can trust with your heart.

A good friend is someone who finds you in the dark and carries you back to the light.

Lord, help us to be that good friend. Help us to be a safe, secure place for each other to run.

Remind us to handle each other with the utmost care. We ask that You give us the wisdom to encourage each other and give us the right words to say that we might uplift and edify one another.

Lord, You are our unshakeable foundation, the source of unwavering strength and protection. In You, we find the courage to be better friends, better listeners, and better carriers of Your light. Thank You for being our constant in a world of variables, our lighthouse in every storm.

Thank You for being our safe, secure place of protection and strength.

In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
