Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today asking You to shield us from harm by Your unwavering strength.
In a world where challenges and uncertainties abound, may our marriage be a haven of safety and peace. We ask that You protect our hearts from the hurts and fears that can arise, and help us to rely on Your power to overcome any obstacle.
Guide our thoughts and actions, so that we may act with wisdom and care, always mindful of each other’s well-being. In challenging times, remind us that You are our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
Bless our marriage, O Lord, with a deep sense of security firmly rooted in Your love. May we always find comfort in knowing that You are our protector, our shield, and our stronghold.
In the love that You have bestowed upon us, teach us to extend that love to each other – a love that is patient, kind, and forgiving. Help us to support one another, to lift each other up, and to face life’s challenges together with courage and faith.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
