A Love That Reflects Christ - Today's Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
Marriage is more than a promise between two people—it’s a living picture of something far greater: the love of Christ for His church. What a high calling, and what a gift.
Teach us to love in a way that reflects You. A love that sacrifices. A love that forgives. A love that chooses faithfulness even when it’s not easy. When the world looks at our marriage, let them see more than affection—let them see the gospel written in the way we serve, honor, and cherish one another.
Remind us that this covenant is sacred. It’s not built on shifting feelings but on Your unfailing love. May our marriage point beyond ourselves to the beauty of Christ’s devotion, a love that gave everything and holds nothing back.
Shape us into that kind of love, Lord—for each other, and for You.
