Prepare Him Room: 28 Ways to Embrace the Spirit of Christmas

Hey, ladies! I’d love to invite you to join our upcoming Advent series, Prepare Him Room: 28 Ways to Embrace the Spirit of Christmas. Unlike our usual Bible studies, this one is more of a devotional style that encourages you to slow down and make space for what matters most—Jesus. Each day offers inspiring stories, scripture readings, simple challenges, and questions designed to draw you closer to Christ.

Over the course of four weeks, we’ll go through the book together beginning November 26th. Once again, we will have weekly videos, and printable chapters.

Take a moment amidst the holiday hustle to focus on His presence. Discover practical ways to reflect Christ’s love in your home, relationships, and daily life.

Let’s make this Christmas a true celebration of our Savior.

A Marriage Marked By Love

A Marriage Marked By Love –
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

Your Word reminds us that faith, hope, and love are the lasting virtues we should cling to, and we want these to be the foundation of our relationship.

Help us to nurture faith—faith in You, in Your promises, and in the plan You have for our marriage. When challenges arise, remind us to trust in Your unfailing love and to walk together in obedience to Your Word.

Fill us with hope, Lord, even in the moments when life feels uncertain or overwhelming. Teach us to lean on You for strength and to encourage one another, knowing that our hope is in Christ Jesus.

Above all, Lord, let our marriage be marked by love—a love that reflects Your heart. Help us to be patient and kind, to forgive freely, and to bear all things together. May our love grow deeper each day, not because of what we gain or expect in return, but because we choose to reflect the selfless love You have shown us. Teach us to prioritize giving over receiving, to seek each other’s joy above our own, and to serve one another with humility and grace. Let our actions be driven by a desire to bless, encourage, and build each other up, fostering a love that mirrors the love You have poured into our lives.

May our love be a witness of Your grace to those around us, pointing them to the One who first loved us.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Today’s Bible Verse

And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity. 1 Corinthians 13:13 (KJV)

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13 (NIV)
