Over the years, countless readers have said, “I want to read the Bible, but I’m not sure where to start.” Others have said, “I know I should be reading my Bible more, but I never seem to get to it.”
With that in mind, I created something exciting and new!! ❤️ It’s a 52-Week Bible Challenge for people like us who want a little inspiration, enjoy taking notes, love learning new and interesting facts about the Bible, and are looking for an encouraging way to dig into Scripture day after day. A Marriage That Bears Burdens Together — Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
We come before You today, knowing that some burdens are easier to see than others. There are the obvious ones—the pressures, responsibilities, and problems we talk about out loud. But there are also the quieter burdens we carry in our hearts.
Teach us to notice.
Help us not to become so wrapped up in our own thoughts that we miss what the other is carrying. Give us tender hearts that pay attention, ask with care, and make room for honest answers.
Lord, sometimes we don’t know how to help. We say the wrong thing, or we stay silent because we’re unsure what to say. But we ask You to guide us. Show us how to come alongside each other with patience, kindness, and grace.
Help us to carry burdens together.
Not by fixing everything.
Not by having all the answers.
But by being present, faithful, and prayerful.
When one of us feels weak, help the other to offer strength. When one of us feels discouraged, help the other to speak truth with love. When life feels heavy, remind us that we were never meant to carry it apart from You.
Draw us closer to Christ, who carries us with compassion and care. Let His love shape the way we support one another, so our marriage becomes a place of comfort, understanding, and steady grace.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
