A Marriage That Chooses Faithfulness — Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
We come before You today, mindful that faithfulness is often formed in the quiet, unseen moments of life. It’s built in the daily choices—to remain committed, to honor our promises, and to walk in integrity even when no one else is watching.
Teach us to be faithful.
Not only in the big decisions, but in the small things that shape the direction of our marriage. Help us to be dependable with our words, steady in our actions, and sincere in our love. Guard our hearts from drifting, and keep our focus anchored in the covenant we’ve made before You.
Lord, we ask that You would strengthen our commitment to one another.
When routines feel ordinary, remind us that faithfulness is never wasted.
When challenges come, give us the resolve to remain steadfast.
When distractions arise, turn our hearts back to what truly matters.
Shape in us a love that endures.
Not based on changing feelings, but grounded in truth and sustained by Your grace. Help us to reflect the kind of faithfulness You have shown to us—constant, patient, and sure.
Draw us closer to Christ, that we may grow in obedience and in devotion. May our marriage be a testimony of Your sustaining power, marked by trust, perseverance, and a deep and lasting commitment.
