A Marriage That Endures in Love — Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
We come before You today, grateful for the gift of love, yet aware that love is not always easy. There are days when it feels natural, and days when it must be chosen with intention and care.
Teach us to love in a way that endures.
Not a love that fades with circumstances, but one that remains steady through every season. Help us to be patient with one another, especially when growth feels slow. Guard us from keeping records of wrongs, and instead lead us to extend grace again and again.
Lord, we ask that You would deepen our love.
When we feel misunderstood, help us to respond with kindness.
When we feel hurt, guide us toward forgiveness.
When we feel distant, draw us back with humility and care.
Shape our love so that it reflects Your heart.
A love that is not easily angered.
A love that protects, trusts, hopes, and perseveres.
A love that continues, even when it is tested.
Draw us closer to Christ, where we learn what true love looks like. As He has loved us, teach us to love one another—with sincerity, with faithfulness, and with a willingness to grow.
May our marriage be strengthened day by day as we walk in this kind of love.
