A Marriage That Finds Strength in God — Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
We come before You today, aware that there are moments when we feel weak. At times we lack patience, wisdom, or the strength to respond well. Left to ourselves, we fall short again and again.
But You are our strength.
Teach us to rely on You, not just in difficult seasons, but in the daily moments where we need grace to love well. Help us to stop striving in our own effort and instead draw from the strength You freely give.
Lord, we ask that You would sustain us.
When we feel tired, renew us.
When we feel overwhelmed, steady us.
When we feel inadequate, remind us that Your power is made perfect in weakness.
Help us to turn to You first.
Before reacting.
Before speaking.
Before trying to fix things on our own.
Let Your strength shape our marriage.
A strength that is quiet, steady, and rooted in You. A strength that helps us remain patient, respond with grace, and keep moving forward together.
Draw us closer to Christ, who is our source of life and power. As we walk with Him, teach us to depend on You more fully each day.
May our marriage reflect not our ability, but Your faithfulness at work within us.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
