A Marriage That Lives with Purpose — Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
We come before You today, knowing that our marriage is not just for ourselves. You have brought us together with intention, and You are at work in ways that reach beyond what we can see.
Teach us to live with purpose.
Help us not to drift through our days, but to be mindful of how we love, how we serve, and how we reflect You in our home. Remind us that the way we treat one another matters—not only to us, but as a testimony of Your grace at work within us.
Lord, we ask that You would guide our steps.
When we lose focus, draw us back.
When we grow distracted, remind us of what matters most.
When we feel uncertain, lead us in the way we should go.
Give us a shared purpose.
To honor You in our marriage.
To encourage one another in faith.
To live in a way that points others to Christ.
Shape our marriage through this calling.
Let it be intentional, steady, and grounded in truth. Let our lives reflect a quiet faithfulness that honors You in both the big moments and the small.
Draw us closer to Christ, who gives meaning and direction to all we do. As we follow Him, teach us to live each day with purpose, trusting that You are using our lives for Your glory.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
