A Marriage That Perseveres in Trials — Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
We come before You today, knowing that trials are a part of this life. Some are small and pass quickly, while others press in and linger longer than we expected. In those moments, it can be easy to grow weary.
Strengthen us to persevere.
Help us not to turn away from each other when things are difficult, but to stand together in faith. Remind us that You are not absent in our trials—you are present, working, and faithful to carry us through.
Lord, we ask that You would steady our hearts.
When we feel overwhelmed, anchor us in Your promises.
When discouragement settles in, lift our eyes to what is true.
When we are tempted to give up, give us the strength to keep going.
Use these seasons to shape us.
To deepen our trust in You.
To strengthen our commitment to one another.
To grow a faith that does not depend on ease, but rests in Your character.
Shape our marriage through perseverance.
Let it become stronger, not weaker, in the face of difficulty. Teach us to rely on You more fully and to support one another with patience and grace.
Draw us closer to Christ, who endured and remained faithful. As we follow Him, help us to walk through every trial with hope that is rooted in You.
