A Marriage That Rests in God’s Presence — Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
We come before You today, aware of how easily our hearts become distracted. Life moves quickly, and without even realizing it, we can go through our days side by side, yet far from the quiet awareness of Your presence.
Draw us back to You.
Teach us to slow down—not just in our pace, but in our thoughts. Help us to turn our attention toward You in the middle of ordinary moments. Remind us that You are near, that You see us, and that You are at work even when life feels routine.
Lord, we ask that You would shape a stillness within our hearts.
Not an absence of responsibility, but a steady awareness that You are with us. When stress rises, lead us to rest in You. When distractions pull at us, gently call us back.
Help us to seek You together.
In quiet moments.
In simple prayers.
In the rhythm of everyday life.
Draw us closer to Christ, where we find peace that holds firm even when life feels unsettled. Let that peace settle into our marriage, guiding our words, our responses, and our love for one another.
