A Marriage That Seeks Wisdom — Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
We come before You today, aware of how easily we can lean on our own understanding. In the middle of decisions, conversations, and even small daily moments, we’re often quick to respond without first seeking You. But Your Word calls us to something better—to walk in wisdom that comes from above.
Teach us to pause and turn our hearts toward You.
Give us a desire to seek Your will together, not just when life feels uncertain, but in the ordinary rhythms of our days. Help us to value Your truth more than our opinions, and to listen with humility when we differ. Guard us from pride that insists on being right, and instead shape in us a spirit that longs to be led by You.
Father, we ask that You would guide our thoughts, our words, and our decisions. Let Your wisdom steady us when emotions rise and direct us when the path ahead feels unclear. Help us to build a marriage that reflects Your truth—one that is marked by discernment, patience, and trust in You.
Draw us closer to Christ, that we may grow in understanding and walk in step with Your Spirit. May our home be a place where Your wisdom is welcomed and followed.
