Over the years, countless readers have said, “I want to read the Bible, but I’m not sure where to start.” Others have said, “I know I should be reading my Bible more, but I never seem to get to it.”

A Marriage That Turns to Your Word — Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
We come before You today, knowing how easily we can let other voices guide us. Opinions, emotions, habits, and even the noise of a busy day can shape our thoughts before we ever stop to ask what You have said.
Teach us to turn to Your Word.
Help us not to treat Scripture as something we reach for only when life feels hard, but as the steady light that guides our marriage day by day. When we’re unsure how to respond, remind us to seek Your wisdom. When we’re tempted to react from frustration, bring Your truth to mind.
Lord, we ask that You would give us hearts that are eager to listen.
Not just to read Your Word, but to receive it.
Not just to know what it says, but to live it out.
Let Your Word shape the way we speak, forgive, serve, and love. Let it correct us when we’re wrong, comfort us when we’re weary, and guide us when the way ahead feels unclear.
Draw us closer to Christ, the living Word, and make our home a place where Your truth is welcomed and followed. May our marriage be strengthened as we walk in the light You so graciously give.
