A Marriage That Walks in Faithful Love — Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
We come before You today, grateful for the love You’ve given us, yet aware that love must be nurtured and protected. Left unattended, it can grow weak, but when rooted in You, it grows strong and steady.
Teach us to love faithfully.
Not only in words, but in the way we live each day. Help us to remain committed in every season—when life feels light and when it feels heavy. Remind us that love is not only something we feel, but something we choose.
Lord, we ask that You would strengthen our devotion.
When we feel distant, draw us closer.
When routines feel dull, renew our care for one another.
When challenges arise, help us to remain anchored in love.
Give us a love that endures.
To stay present when it would be easier to withdraw.
To remain kind when patience is tested.
To hold on to one another with grace and commitment.
Shape our marriage through this faithful love.
Let it be steady, dependable, and rooted in truth. Let it reflect the love You have shown us—a love that does not give up, does not turn away, and does not fail.
Draw us closer to Christ, who loves us with perfect faithfulness. As we follow Him, teach us to love one another with sincerity and strength.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
