A Marriage That Walks in Truth — Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
We come before You today with open hearts, asking that You would lead us in truth. Your Word is clear, and Your ways are right, yet we confess that we don’t always walk in them. Too often we respond out of habit, emotion, or pride instead of choosing what is pleasing to You.
Lord, teach us to live differently. Shape our hearts so that we are not conformed to the patterns of this world, but are being transformed by Your truth. Help us to recognize the areas where we need to change, and give us the willingness to turn from what is wrong and walk in obedience.
Draw us closer to Christ. Let our time with You be more than routine—make it the place where our hearts are corrected, strengthened, and renewed. Form in us a deeper desire to reflect His character in the way we speak, the way we respond, and the way we love one another.
Guard our marriage from drifting into complacency. Keep us attentive to Your voice and quick to respond when You convict us. Let our relationship be shaped by truth, grounded in grace, and marked by a sincere pursuit of holiness.
We trust You to lead us, and we choose to follow.
