Over the course of four weeks beginning Tuesday, November 28th, and leading up to Christmas, join me as we journey together through the rich biblical themes of Love, Joy, Hope, and Peace. Each day is a refreshing look at scripture, shedding light on timeless stories ranging from Jacob and Rachel’s enduring love to the inspiring resilience of Paul and Silas.
This advent-devotional Bible study is an invitation to rediscover the profound love of God, revealed in the humble birth of our Savior.

A Passion For Serving Others –
Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
We seek Your guidance to develop a deep and enduring passion for serving others. May our marriage be an instrument of Your enduring love, reflecting the mercy and grace You so generously provide. Grant us the vision to see those in need through Your eyes, and the willingness to act swiftly with kindness and generosity.
Move us towards acts of selflessness, inspiring us to prioritize the well-being of others above our own. In each gesture of service, whether grand or modest, may our actions be a true representation of Your love.
Bless us with hearts that overflow with generosity and understanding. May our deeds reflect the essence of Christ’s love, impacting lives in both visible and subtle ways.
When we encounter fatigue or self-centeredness, we ask that You remind us of the profound joy in serving more than being served. Rejuvenate our spirits and align our desires with Your will, so that our lives together will be honoring to You.
We pray for hearts that eagerly embrace service, spirits that joyfully share, and love that generously reaches out to those in need.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Today’s Bible Verse
Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. – Philippians 2:3-4, KJV

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. – Philippians 2:3-4, NIV
