A Prayer for Acceptance and Grace – Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
We thank You for the gift of love that You have given us in each other. We are grateful for the blessings of this marriage, and for the journey that we have taken together so far.
We ask for Your guidance and wisdom as we continue on this path together. Help us to remember that marriage is a sacred covenant, meant to be a partnership of mutual support and respect.
Grant us patience and understanding as we navigate the ups and downs of life together. Remind us to always speak kindly to each other, and to listen with open hearts and minds.
Help us to compassionately accept each other as we are. Give us the grace to forgive, and the strength to encourage and support each other in all that we do.
May our love for each other continue to grow and deepen, reflecting the love that You have for us. May our marriage be a sanctuary of acceptance, grace, and joy.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
