A Prayer of Thanks for Steadfast Love — Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
We thank You for the steady love You’ve allowed us to share. Not every day feels extraordinary, and not every moment is filled with excitement, but You have given us a love that endures—one that grows through ordinary days and strengthens through simple acts of faithfulness.
Thank You for the comfort of familiar routines,
for the warmth of companionship,
for the quiet ways love shows up when we need it most.
We ask that You help us see these blessings more clearly. When stress presses in or responsibilities multiply, remind us of the good You’ve placed in our lives. Help us appreciate the small gestures, the gentle words, and the daily choices that hold a marriage together.
Lord, cultivate gratitude in our hearts so we recognize Your hand in every season. Let thankfulness soften our attitudes, deepen our affection, and strengthen our unity.
We thank You for this love—not perfect, but growing; not without effort, but rich with Your grace. May gratitude shape the way we see one another, and may our marriage reflect the goodness You continually pour into our lives.
