A Prayer of Thanks for the Gift of Companionship — Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
We thank You for the gift of companionship and for the blessing of walking through life together. In moments of joy, in seasons of challenge, and in the ordinary days in between, You have given us someone to share the journey with. For this, we are deeply grateful.
Thank You for the comfort of a familiar voice,
for the reassurance of a steady presence,
for the strength that comes from knowing we are not alone.
Help us appreciate the companionship we often take for granted—the shared meals, the daily conversations, the small gestures that make life richer and more meaningful. Remind us that these simple moments are gifts from Your hand.
Lord, cultivate gratitude in our hearts for the one who stands beside us. When life becomes busy or stress presses in, help us pause long enough to remember the blessing we have in each other and the ways You have used this relationship to shape our lives for good.
We thank You for this companionship—imperfect yet precious, familiar yet still capable of growing deeper with Your help.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
