A Prayer of Thanks for the Growth You Bring — Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
We thank You for the growth You bring into our lives and into our marriage. Some changes come quickly, but many arrive quietly—through patient steps, honest conversations, and Your gentle work within our hearts. Help us recognize these small but meaningful signs of growth so we can give You the praise You deserve.
Thank You for the softened attitudes,
for the wiser responses,
for the renewed strength to keep loving well.
Thank You for the moments when we learn to listen better, forgive more freely, or show kindness when it isn’t easy. These are reminders that You are shaping us from the inside out.
Lord, teach us to celebrate progress rather than dwell on what still needs to change. Help us appreciate how far You’ve brought us, knowing that every step of growth is evidence of Your faithfulness.
We ask that gratitude take deep root in our hearts so we remain hopeful, patient, and confident in Your ongoing work. Thank You for guiding us, correcting us, and strengthening our marriage day by day.
