An Intentional Marriage –
Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
We long for a marriage that reflects Your design—one that is grounded in friendship, respect, and intimacy. Teach us to nurture and strengthen the love we share, keeping the passion between us alive.
Help us to remember that a strong and vibrant marriage is built intentionally by two hearts committed to pursuing a deep and lasting bond. Remind us daily to be thoughtful and gentle with each other, cherishing the gift of love You have given us.
Grant us a desire for intimacy that is exclusive to one another. Guard our hearts and minds, and help us to honor our covenant by rejecting anything that could harm the trust we share. May our words and actions flow from a spirit of kindness, governed by Your peace, and perfected by the bond of love (Colossians 3:14).
Show us how to express affection in ways that resonate deeply. Inspire us to prioritize our marriage, putting one another first with warm compassion and steadfast commitment. May our relationship bring You glory and serve as a reflection of Christ’s love for the church.
