As For Me and My House –
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

As we’re growing together in grace every day, we need Your help, Lord. Give us the strength we need daily to lay down our lives and pick up our cross. We ask that You give us the desires of our hearts. An increasing desire to keep You first in our lives, as Your Word fuels change from within us. The desire to honor each other and keep our marriage bed holy. A willingness to immerse ourselves in Your Word so that we may be a light in this world.

Help us to firmly resist the temptation that is in this world. We know that there will be tough days ahead—days when we’re tempted, discouraged, or upset, but no matter what may come, may we always confidently say that as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

In the name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.
