Grateful for the Ordinary Days - Today's Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
It’s easy to be thankful for the big moments—the milestones, the answered prayers, the joyful celebrations. But today, we’re pausing to say thank You for the ordinary. The everyday. The quiet, unseen rhythms that make up so much of our life together.
Thank You for morning coffee and evening routines, for shared glances across the room, and inside jokes that no one else would understand. Thank You for the comfort of familiar arms and the steady presence of someone who knows and loves us.
Help us not to miss the beauty right in front of us. Let us see these little things for what they truly are—gifts. Reminders of Your faithfulness and of the grace that fills our home, even when the day feels slow or forgettable.
May we never take each other for granted. May gratitude always shape the way we speak, the way we serve, and the way we love.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
