Choosing Honor Every Day - Today's Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
It’s easy to get comfortable in marriage—and comfort is a gift. But sometimes in the ease of everyday life, we forget to be intentional with our words… with our tone… with how we treat each other.
Help us not just to love each other, but to honor each other. To speak with kindness, even when we’re tired. To listen with care, even when we’re distracted. To treat one another as valuable—not just in the big moments, but in the smallest choices we make each day.
Let us never lose sight of how precious this bond is. Show us how to lift each other up, to celebrate the good, and to protect each other’s dignity at all times.
Even in disagreement, let there be respect. Even in stress, let there be gentleness. Even in routine, let there be warmth.
May our marriage reflect the kind of love that puts the other first—not out of duty, but out of delight.
