Walking in the Same Direction - Today's Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
There’s something so beautiful about two people walking through life together—but we know it takes more than love to stay in step. It takes grace. It takes communication. It takes a shared commitment to follow You first, and to follow through with one another.
Help us to walk in unity—not just agreeing on surface things, but truly seeking Your heart together. When we face decisions, give us clarity. When we face tension, give us humility. And when we drift out of sync, draw us back with gentleness and peace.
Teach us to value the “we” over the “me.” To keep pace with each other—not rushing ahead or falling behind, but moving forward hand in hand with You at the center.
We don’t want to just live under the same roof—we want to live with purpose, direction, and a shared desire to please You in all we do.
We ask that You keep us walking together, Lord. One step at a time.
