Finding Joy in Serving Each Other - Today's Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
Thank You for the gift of this marriage, and for the many ways You invite us to reflect Your love right here in our own home. Help us remember that some of the most powerful ways we love each other aren’t always big or dramatic—they’re in the little things we do with a joyful heart.
Remind us to serve each other—not out of obligation, but out of love. Help us to see the beauty in folding the laundry, making the coffee, or offering a kind word at the end of a long day. These quiet acts of care are sacred too.
When we’re tired or feeling overlooked, give us the strength to serve anyway—not to earn anything, but to pour out the same grace You’ve poured into us. Let us find joy in putting each other first, knowing that love often looks like patience, sacrifice, and gentleness behind the scenes.
Shape our hearts to be more like Yours—humble, kind, and eager to love well.
