Being Shaped into Christlikeness Together - Today's Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
Sometimes we forget that marriage isn’t just about happiness—it’s about holiness. It’s about You using this relationship to shape us, stretch us, and make us more like Jesus.
So when challenges come, help us not to pull away from each other, but to lean in with humility and grace. Use the hard conversations to teach us patience. Use the misunderstandings to grow compassion. Use the waiting seasons to deepen our faith.
We don’t want to just coast through life together—we want to be transformed. Day by day, choice by choice, teach us to love with Your kind of love. A love that is steadfast. Forgiving. Humble. And strong.
Let our marriage be a place where Your Spirit is at work—refining us, renewing us, and making something more beautiful than we could build on our own. May we reflect You, not just in how we love each other, but in who we are becoming together.
