To Protect Our Time Together — Today's Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
In the midst of life’s busyness, it’s so easy to let distractions, responsibilities, and daily routines pull us apart. But Lord, we know that our marriage is a reflection of Your love and it deserves our time, attention, and care.
Help us to be intentional in making time for one another, even when life feels overwhelming. Give us the wisdom to set aside distractions, the discipline to protect our time together, and the creativity to nurture our connection in simple yet meaningful ways. May we cherish the small moments—whether it’s a shared meal, a heartfelt conversation, or just sitting together in quiet companionship.
When schedules are full and energy is low, remind us that love grows through the time we invest in each other. May our marriage be a place of peace, joy, and unwavering commitment, built not just on shared responsibilities, but on shared hearts.
We surrender our time, our priorities, and our relationship into Your hands. Guide us in strengthening our bond so that, no matter what comes our way, we always find our way back to each other.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
Today’s Bible Verse
Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. — Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, KJV
Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. — Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, NIV
