Choosing Faith Over Fear - Today's Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
We thank You for being our refuge and strength, a present help in every trouble. We ask that You help us to choose faith when fear begins to whisper—faith that trusts Your promises more than our worries, and Your plan more than our understanding.
When uncertainty shakes our confidence or challenges test our resolve, remind us that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. Help us to lean on Your Word together, encouraging one another to believe when doubts arise.
Lord, teach us to face life’s unknowns hand in hand, anchored in the assurance that You are faithful. We ask that You calm anxious hearts and replace every “what if” with “God will.” May our marriage reflect the peace that comes from trusting You fully, even when we can’t see the way ahead.
Let our faith be contagious—bringing courage to each other and light to those around us. In every storm and every season, may we find rest in Your perfect love that casts out fear.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
