The Weight Of This World — Today's Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
We know that in every marriage, hardships are inevitable, but we trust in Your promise that You are with us through every storm.
When we face trials, remind us that we are never alone. Help us to turn to You and to each other, not as adversaries, but as partners in this journey. May we hold on to the hope that You are working in us and through us, even when things feel uncertain or overwhelming.
Grant us the perseverance to keep moving forward, even when we don’t understand why things are happening. Let our love for each other be a reflection of Your steadfast love for us. Help us to be quick to listen, slow to anger, and ready to support one another with kindness and patience.
Father, when the weight of the world feels heavy, give us the strength to carry it together. When the road is tough, remind us of the many victories we’ve already experienced as a couple and encourage us with the truth that You have brought us this far and will continue to lead us.
May we grow stronger through each hardship, learning to trust You more deeply and to love each other more fully. Thank You for the grace You pour into our marriage each day. Help us to remember that through You, all things are possible, and that this season of difficulty is just another chapter in the beautiful story You are writing in our lives.
