Place Everything Into Your Hands — Today's Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
Today, we take a moment to slow down and place everything—our hearts, our hopes, and our plans—into Your hands. We want to commit our way to You, not halfway or hesitantly, but with full trust and open hearts.
We admit that we don’t always know which way to go. At times, we’re unsure. Other times, we try to take matters into our own hands. But Your Word reminds us that when we commit our way to You and trust in You, You will act on our behalf (Psalm 37:5). That promise brings peace to our restless hearts.
Teach us, Lord, to stay in step with You. Help us to pause and seek Your wisdom before we make decisions—to pray before we plan, and to listen before we speak. In both the milestones and the everyday moments, may Your Spirit be the One who leads us.
When we drift toward self-reliance, gently draw us back. Remind us we’re never alone—You are with us, guiding us through every season. And help us remember we’re not just two people sharing life, but a team joined together by Your grace.
We trust You, Lord—with our future, our finances, our family, and every unknown ahead. Even when we can’t see what You’re doing, we believe You’re working for our good. Keep us grounded in truth, growing in faith, and soft toward each other as we walk forward—together, with You.
