Calm Our Anxious Hearts — Today's Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come to You together, hand in hand, with hearts that sometimes grow heavy with worry. In a world full of unknowns, it’s easy to let fear creep into our thoughts and our marriage. But we know that You are not the author of confusion or anxiety — You are our peace.
Help us, Lord, to trust You more. Teach us to bring our concerns to You instead of carrying them on our own. Remind us that Your grace is sufficient, not just for today, but for every tomorrow that lies ahead.
When financial pressures rise, when health concerns weigh us down, or when life feels uncertain — help us to pause and seek Your presence. Give us the wisdom to speak calmly, to listen patiently, and to encourage one another when the path ahead seems unclear.
May our marriage be a place of safety, where we don’t have to hide our fears, but where we can lift them up together in prayer. Anchor our hearts in the truth of Your Word, knowing that You care for us and that nothing escapes Your attention.
Lord, calm our anxious hearts. Remind us that You walk before us, behind us, and beside us — always.
