Preparing The Way Before Us

Preparing The Way Before Us — Today's Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

In a world full of uncertainties, it is so easy to let worry take hold of our hearts. Yet, You remind us in Matthew 6:34 that we are not to be anxious about tomorrow, for each day has enough trouble of its own.

When we are tempted to dwell on the “what-ifs” and the unknown, remind us that You are already in our future, preparing the way before us. Teach us to lean on You instead of our own understanding, to find peace in Your presence, and to rest in the knowledge that You are our provider, our protector, and our guide.

May we encourage one another when worry creeps in, speaking truth rather than fear and choosing faith over anxiety. Fill our home with peace that surpasses understanding, and let our love be a reflection of the trust we have in You.

We surrender our worries to You today, Lord, knowing that You are faithful, and Your plans for us are good.

In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Today’s Bible Verse

Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. — Matthew 6:34, KJV

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. — Matthew 6:34, NIV
