The Beautiful Gift of Laughter — Today's Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
Thank You for the beautiful gift of laughter—the way it softens our hearts, lifts our burdens, and draws us closer. I pray that You would help us make space for joy in our marriage, even when life feels heavy or complicated. Remind us to pause, to see the moments worth celebrating, and to embrace the kind of laughter that brings healing and hope.
Help us not to lose sight of each other in the routines and responsibilities of life. Let us find reasons to smile together, to enjoy each other’s company, and to delight in the simple blessings You’ve given us. May laughter be a reminder that You are a God of joy, and that even in the hard seasons, we can taste glimpses of the goodness to come.
Teach us to treasure these moments, Lord, and to never take them—or each other—for granted.
