Strength Through Trials — Today's Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
You have promised that two are better than one and that a cord of three strands is not easily broken (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12). In times of trial, when life feels overwhelming, remind us that we are not alone—we have each other, and most importantly, we have You.
Strengthen our love when we face challenges. Help us to stand together, hand in hand, heart to heart, relying not on our own strength, but rather on You. Teach us to lift each other up when we fall, to offer words of encouragement when doubt creeps in, and to hold fast to faith when circumstances test us.
Lord, may every hardship draw us closer to You and to each other. When we feel weak, be our strength. When we are uncertain, be our guide. When we are weary, be our rest. Let our marriage be a testimony of perseverance, trust, and the power of Your love at work in us.
We place our relationship in Your hands, knowing that with You, we can withstand any storm.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
Today’s Bible Verse
Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. — Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, KJV
Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. — Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, NIV
