When We’re Anxious - Today's Marriage Prayers
Dear heavenly Father,
Some days our hearts feel heavy. We carry the weight of bills, busy schedules, misunderstandings, and unspoken fears. Sometimes we try to handle it all on our own, forgetting that You’ve invited us to place those burdens into Your hands.
Help us remember, Lord, that we don’t have to hold it all together. You never asked us to. You simply ask us to come—honestly, humbly, and fully surrendered.
As husband and wife, teach us to come to You together. When we’re anxious about our future, uncertain about decisions, or just feeling stretched thin, remind us that we can cast every care on You. Not just the big worries, but the small ones too. The ones that sit quietly in the corners of our minds.
Thank You for being a God who cares—not from a distance, but right here in the middle of it all. Thank You for meeting us with peace when we choose to let go and trust You more.
Strengthen our marriage as we lean on You. Fill our home with the calm that comes from knowing You’re in control. And teach us to walk through every season—hand in hand with each other, and with You.
