A Reflection Of Your Mercy - Today's Marriage Prayers
Dear heavenly Father,
Thank You for the gift of marriage and for the daily opportunities we have to grow in love, grace, and unity. Today, we come before You asking for softened hearts and a willingness to forgive. Teach us to be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry. When tension rises or words are spoken in haste, help us to respond with gentleness and humility.
Remind us that forgiveness is not just a feeling—it’s a choice. A choice to let go of bitterness and extend the same grace that You’ve so freely given to us. May we never let pride or stubbornness harden our hearts. Instead, clothe us with compassion, kindness, and patience.
Lord, when wounds run deep, be our Healer. When memories resurface, be our Peace. And when reconciliation feels out of reach, remind us that nothing is impossible with You. Let our marriage be a reflection of Your mercy—a place where love covers offenses and where grace is never in short supply.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
