Renew Our Minds With Thoughts Of Grace — Today's Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, asking that You renew our minds and shape our thoughts according to Your truth. In Romans 12:2, You call us to be transformed by the renewing of our minds so that we may discern Your good, pleasing, and perfect will. Lord, help us to embrace this transformation in our marriage.
When the weight of life’s challenges tries to pull us apart, remind us to turn to You rather than to the worries of the world. Let us be mindful of our words, speaking with kindness, patience, and encouragement. When frustration arises, renew our minds with thoughts of grace and understanding. When fear and doubt creep in, fill our hearts with faith and trust in Your plan.
Help us to focus not on what is temporary, but on what is eternal—a love that reflects Your wisdom, mercy, and faithfulness. May our marriage be a testimony of Your renewing power, growing stronger as we align our hearts and minds with You.
Thank You, Lord, for the gift of transformation and the opportunity to grow together in Your love.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
Today’s Bible Verse
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. — Romans 12:2, KJV
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. — Romans 12:2, NIV
