Reflecting Christ - Today's Marriage Prayers
Dear heavenly Father,
Our deepest desire isn’t just to have a good marriage—it’s to have a marriage that points others to You. One that reflects the kind of love that laid itself down, that forgives quickly, and gives generously. A love that isn’t afraid to sacrifice comfort for connection, pride for peace, or self for the sake of another.
You’ve called us to walk in love—not a love shaped by the world, but one shaped by the cross. That’s big, Lord. We don’t always get it right. But we want to continue to grow. We want people to see something holy in the way we treat each other—something gentle and strong and firmly rooted in You.
Help us love with the kind of grace that opens doors for healing. Help us to speak truth with kindness, to serve without being asked, and to let the little things go. We ask that You keep shaping us into a couple who carries Your presence into every room—not with perfection, but with humility and hope.
Let our marriage be a reflection of Your heart—a daily reminder to one another and to the world that You are real, and that Your love transforms everything it touches.
