Staying Steady in the Difficult Seasons - Today's Marriage Prayers
Dear heavenly Father,
Thank You for the strength You give us to keep going—even when we’re tired, even when it’s hard, and even when things don’t change as quickly as we’d like. Sometimes the work of marriage is quiet and unseen, and yet You remind us that faithfulness always matters.
When we feel weary in doing good—loving well, choosing grace, staying committed—breathe new life into our spirits. Help us to trust that the small things are never wasted and that what we sow in love will grow in Your time.
Teach us to endure—not with gritted teeth, but with hopeful hearts. Let us be a steady presence for one another when the world feels shaky. And when one of us is weak, may the other speak strength, not shame.
We don’t want to just get through the hard seasons—we want to grow through them. So we ask for resilience. Not just for today, but for every tomorrow You give us.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
Today’s Bible Verse
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. — Galatians 6:9, KJV
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. — Galatians 6:9, NIV
