One In Heart, Purpose, and Love - Today's Marriage Prayers

Dear heavenly Father,

You brought us together and made us one—and yet we know that oneness doesn’t happen automatically. It’s something we learn, something we grow into, something we protect.

So today we ask for deeper unity. Not just in our routines or decisions, but in our hearts. Help us to see one another as You see us—flawed, yes, but deeply loved and worth fighting for. Teach us to be quick to listen, slow to speak, and eager to stay connected, even when life pulls at us from every side.

When the world whispers independence or selfishness, remind us of the beauty of unity. Remind us that we are stronger together, wiser together, and more like You when we pray and live according to Your Word.

We ask that You let nothing—no distraction, no disagreement, no outside voice—tear apart what You have joined. Make us one in heart, one in purpose, and one in love.

In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Today’s Bible Verse

And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.Mark 10:8–9, KJV

And the two will become one flesh. So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.Mark 10:8–9, NIV
